Pan-Fried Walleye with Lemon Butter Sauce
Ingredients
1/4 cup flour
Salt and freshly ground pepper
4 skinless Walleye fillets
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. cold butter
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
Mix flour, salt and pepper in a shallow bowl. Dip fillets one at a time into flour mixture, shaking off excess.
In a medium skillet, heat oil and 1 tbsp. butter over medium-high heat.
Add fillets and cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until fish flakes with a fork.
Transfer to a plate and keep warm. Add lemon juice to skillet, whisking in butter until thickened. Pour sauce over the fish and sprinkle with parsley.
Baked Walleye
Ingredients
4-5 fillets of Walleye
1/3 Cup melted butter
1 Tbps Lemon Juice
Dash of Lemon Pepper
Preparation
Mix melted butter and Lemon juice, pour over the Walleye fillets.
Sprinkle with Lemon Pepper. Bake in oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes,
until fillets flake.
